This means that B-140 was removed, but later re-added by one of the developers, whether it be as an admin-exclusive, or something else.
Reason: B-140 was removed and fixed due to errors because of the original scripter's scripting skills but got re-added when the errors were fixed.
Appearance
[]

B-140 appears to be a light turquoise-colored, wide grin. The entity's eyes are seemingly conjoined, melting into each other. The left eye takes the appearance of a hollowed out "U-shaped" eye, where the right eye is a wide white "O-shaped" eye.
B-140 animation wobbles in-game, but this is hard to see due to how fast it is and how it shakes when it splits.Same as the current, but with a thinner smile and bigger eyes,it also seems like the bisects are glued together.
Same as the current, but the eyes are distanced and the mouth looks like a chin.
Same as the older one, but with the eyes far away and both of them being ovals, making him look unintelligent.

Description/Behaviors
[]
This entity functions similarly to most Locker/Table checkers, but with a unique twist.
B-140 spawns at the beginning of the B-Section where it will quickly rush towards the latest room, The pace of the entity is extremely fast, to the point of already being an extremely hard entity on it's own, As soon as you see the screen shaking, it means B-140 already made it way closer to the current room, But the part that gives it the title of the hardest entity of the B-Section is not it extreme speed, but rather what happens after it made it way into the current room.
There will be a multitude of hiding spots up to ~3-4 rooms behind that will be promptly lit up with a green glow, along with a guaranteed chance of every hiding spot in the current room to be lit up.
After reaching the current room, B-140 will split into two bisects, tearing off the two halves, the bisects, respectively named MOB-1 and MOB-2. Following the split, MOB-1 (the smiling bisect) will check lockers lit up with the green glow, while MOB-2 (the frowning bisect) will check tables with a green glow, and long tables will just be destroyed.
After the bisects have inspected the hiding spots in the previous ~3–5 rooms, they will reunite in the current room, where MOB-1 and MOB-2 merge back into a single entity, reforming B-140. This unified entity will proceed to rush back towards B-000 and despawn. The glow in the hiding spots will slowly fade out after B-140 despawns.
Strategy & Tips[]
- To survive B-140, players must find and hide inside any hiding spot that does not have a green glow, mostly in the previous room as the hiding spots in the current room are the most likely to be checked.
- If you don't see any unlit hiding spot, backtrack in another room, as the bisects, unlike B-140, are not that fast, and will take some time to make them catch up to you.
- It is recommended that you hide inside a previous room during a B-140 sequence, as other additional entities (e.g, B-40, B-120 or B-170) may spawn.
Notes[]
- The glow emitted from other lockers and tables might illuminate other un-highlighted hiding spots. Keep in mind the glow only comes from the center of the locker/table.
- You can view more information on the bisects by tapping on these blue words to go to the bisect's wiki pages: MOB-1, MOB-2.
Trivia[]
- It's possible that in the current room, all hiding spots would be checked by B-140.
- As of the current update, Take this into value even more, as B-140 is no longer bugged.
- B-140 has a similar sound to B-5, just with a flange and echo effect.
- MOB-1 & MOB-2 used to get stuck, resulting in the server being soft locked and therefore halting game progress permanently. This eventually got fixed by making clones merge after a certain time passes.
- Both B-140 and the bisects use the same sound, just with different effects.
- B-140 is actually the fastest entity in the B Section. When the bisects remerge and B-140 rushes to B-000, B-140 can reach speeds up to (1k/1s) - (1k/0.2-0.8), aka 1K studs per second and can get up to 1K stud every 0.6 - 0.8 seconds. You can see a small percentage of it's max speed on this video here.
- B-140 becomes faster the more doors are opened. So if the main door is B-390, B-140 studs per second will be 1k in less than 0.8 seconds. When it rushes to B-000, because of the speed, It might sometimes not kill the players.
- B-140 is actually 2 entities in one entity.
- B-140 newest design is actually the old design and new design combined. This was confirmed by sweep in this video by Aeb.
- B-140 is commonly considered the most dangerous entity in B Section.
- MOB-2 used to have G-26's low ambience as it's jumpscare.
- This is no longer the case, as it is now changed.
- B-140 is slightly faster than G-250. B-140's max speed is 1k/0.6s, and G-250 speed is 1k/1s.
- This means that B-140 goes at 1666.6... studs per second. while G-250 goes at 1000 studs per second.
- In a old version of R:LD, when B-140 appeared, hiding spots were not illuminated. This made a lot of players angry as B-140 was just an RNG-based entity.
- B-140 used to only spawn once, but that bug got fixed.
- MOB-1 always looks at the real-life face of the player except for it's current design, looking at the left side of your screen. MOB-2 looks at the right side of your screen, except for it's old design, looking at the left side of your screen.
- B-140 bisects used to not check hiding spots in Hardcore Mode (if you weren't in the B-Section), but as of now, they can.
- If you used the now fixed Checkpoint Glitch (pressed 2 checkpoint buttons at the same time), pressed one of B-Section checkpoint buttons right after activating Hardcore Mode and B-140 spawned in, the bisects would check every hiding spot possible in the B-Section. This is seen in this video.
- Similar to B-200, B-140 was involved in 2 controversies ( both controversies are mentioned in B-200 page ). A-105 was also involved in one of their controversies.
- You can survive the bisects by going to the exit of the room due to their small hitbox. However, this may be fixed in the future.
- MOB-1 & MOB-2 hate each other.
- An average bisect is 20 years old, which is as old as Happyman.
- An easier version, but by a small margin, of B-140 has been added to the game, being called B-244. More information about it can be found in it's page.
- Before B-244 was added, B-140 was mainly considered the hardest entity in the B-Section.
- As of right now, However, it was actually that B-140 code was bugged, it is now fixed to it's intended version: check a lot of hiding spots, with the current room no longer being safe from it bisects.
- There is currently an undiscovered B-140 variant, recently found by someone in the Entities page.
- B-140 can be still encountered in Hardcore Mode
- When B-140 got redesigned to it old design the hinting of its arrival was still a purple light.
- B-140 was removed because in the old B-section there is a small but likely chance of the MOBs getting stuck within the pillar and therefore softlocking the server. This would especially be bad if you didn't know how to do the table glitch back then.
- Back then B-140 would mark what it will check with a pink light rather than a turquoise highlight.
- MOB-1
and MOB-2
have always used their old designs for the emotes. this has never been fixed.for the emotes, type :MOB1: or :MOB2:
